 • Blueberries prevent constipation and improve digestion.

•  Blueberries have anti-inflammatory properties.

• Blueberries slow down the appearance of aging.

• Blueberries are low in calories, less than 100/cup.

Take a look at the numerous properties of a blueberries.  They contain  Vitamin C, B complex, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, copper, selenium, zinc, iron,  potassium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, Anthocyanin, Pterostilbene, rutin, resveritrol, lutein, zeaxanthin, as well as others.

Choose fresh berries that have a  firm and plump appearance.  Shake the container to make sure the berries move freely.  If they don't they may be soft, damaged, or moldy.  Avoid berries that have a dull color or watery texture. The presence of moisture causes the berries to decay.   Buy berries that are grown locally whenever you can, however, it has been found that even after freezing they retain the majority of their nutrients.

Here is a great cereal recipe so you can eat your blueberries daily:

Mix together
1/2 cup of blueberries
1/4 cup English walnuts
1/2 cup plain, all natural yogart (I love Dannon's fat free, all natural brand)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 - 1/2 cup raw oats

Vary amounts according to taste.
This delicious, crunchy, nutritious cereal will hold your hunger at bay for several hours.
Try it, you're going to like it!
